Make your holiday a relaxing and joyful time by knowing as much as possible about our wonderful property. Please read these terms and condition.

Please check our availability calendar for the dates you want – we mark out those weeks reserved once we receive a deposit. Personal check accepted for deposit if your mailing address is USA. Other must send bank check, use Western Union, PayPal etc. Payments by PayPal will have a small surcharge.
Payment can be made in the form of Cashier/personal check, U.S. Postal Money Order, PayPal or Western Union wire transfer.


Linens can be rented separately by a linen service that serves Ocean Lakes if you do not want to bring your own.  Please ask for information about this service if you prefer to rent your linens.


Required Deposit for holding your reservation is $435.00 and can be by personal check.
The housekeeping crew charges $135 for the post-departure cleaning.  If there is no damage, no fines, and no extraordinary cleaning required, the balance of the guest’s deposit will be returned via mail within two weeks of departure.


If reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to your arrival date, we will retain 15% of the Gross Rental Fee plus a $75.00 Administration Fee.  If reservations are cancelled less than 45 days prior to the arrival date, refuse the rental property or do not show up, owner will retain the entire amount paid.   We recommend AND advise that our guests purchase vacation trip insurance in case they need  to cancel for any reason.  Many credit cards make this available for a small fee.


6% SC sales tax plus 6% Horry County and hospitality tax is charged.
Ocean Lakes charges $8 per day per vehicle resort entry fee to help pay for 24/7 security personnel. This is separate from your rental of the house. You may pre-register at least 14 days ahead of your arrival by mail so you don’t have to wait in line to register your vehicle when you arrive.
